Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct independent literature research, formulate research plans under the supervision of the principal investigator, and apply for postdoctoral funding schemes at all levels.
2. Independently design and carry out full-cycle experiments, and complete data collection and analysis.
3. Assist in applying for government-sponsored (vertical) and industry-funded (horizontal) research projects, author high-quality academic papers and patents, and participate in academic exchanges.
4. Assist in mentoring students, participate in daily laboratory administration, and undertake the management and maintenance of laboratory instruments and facilities.

Qualifications

1. Hold or be about to receive a PhD degree in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanics or other related disciplines; generally aged 35 or below.

2. Candidates with research background in intelligent materials such as shape memory alloys, ferroelectric & piezoelectric materials, magnetostrictive materials, magnetic materials, and metals/ceramics are highly preferred.
3. Track record of publishing high-quality academic papers in authoritative journals in the field as the first author; proficient in English writing and communication; overseas research experience is preferred.
4. Strong independent research capability, rigorous and pragmatic work attitude, and excellent teamwork skills.
