TCE-related technology strategy and planning
Lead the cutting-edge R&D of TCE bispecific antibodies and related multispecific antibody therapeutics, and take charge of all core stages of the pipeline from drug molecular design, sequence optimization, and developability assessment to PCC (Preclinical Candidate Confirmation) determination.
Novel TCE platform technology development
Build a differentiated technology platform for novel bispecific/multispecific TCE modalities, and lead the team to achieve core technological breakthroughs including asymmetric structure design, low immunogenicity engineering, and tumor microenvironment (TME)-specific activation strategies. Address key challenges in TCE antibody development such as toxicity control, tumor targeting optimization, and half-life extension.
Be responsible for the design and optimization of antibody sequences, linkers and molecular formats.
Department operation and team management
As the head of the department, take full ownership of personnel, budget and resource management. Lead team building and talent echelon development, align departmental goals with corporate strategy, and ensure performance delivery. Ensure department operations within budget, coordinate experimental material management, foster a highly collaborative R&D team, and drive efficient progress of TCE projects.
Industry insight and technology iteration
Maintain in-depth insights into the development trend of the TCE bispecific/multispecific antibody industry, track the latest scientific advances and technologies in the field, and promote the application of new technologies and methodologies within the team.
Job Qualifications
Education & Major
PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology or other closely related majors.
Professional Knowledge
Familiar with the development landscape of bispecific and multispecific antibody industries (especially TCE); proficient in sequence optimization and molecular format design of various bispecific/multispecific antibodies; knowledgeable in developability, immunogenicity and PK (pharmacokinetics) assessment of bispecific/multispecific antibodies.
Work Experience
At least 8 years of working experience in antibody drug R&D, with rich practical experience in bispecific and multispecific antibody development, particularly TCE antibody projects.
Hands-on R&D experience in no less than 2 TCE antibody-related programs; have led or served as a core member of TCE bispecific antibody development projects, with at least 2 TCE antibody programs under responsibility entering the PCC stage and 1 molecule entering clinical development.
Experience in designing tumor-specific activating molecules (e.g., pro-drugs) is highly preferred.
Proven team management experience with a team size of 5-10 members.
Skills & Competencies
Proficient in molecular format design and engineering of various bispecific/multispecific antibodies (especially TCE); skilled in antibody sequence/structure engineering, protein structure analysis and rational design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, capable of participating in BD (Business Development) communications; fluent oral English is preferred.
Excellent team leadership, cross-departmental coordination and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of efficiently driving R&D project delivery.
