Event composition

The competition focuses on innovative projects of talents from both home and abroad in the field of artificial intelligence. It centers on AI empowering various industries, with a particular emphasis on specialized sectors such as embodied intelligence (smart logistics), life health, and cultural tourism. It actively leverages the roles of leading enterprises and research institutions in the jurisdiction, such as Zhejiang Comprehensive Research Institute, SF Innovation Center, and Huadong Pharmaceutical, to fully gather global innovative resources in the field of artificial intelligence and identify and support high-quality projects with leading technologies and clear industrialization prospects.

Eligibility requirements

Overseas High-level Talent Project:

The project leader must be under 60 years old, have returned to China (or come to China) for no more than 3 years, have obtained a master's degree or above (with a study abroad degree certification from the Chinese government), have experience in overseas entrepreneurship or have held a middle-level management position in an international well-known enterprise for more than 3 years， or have held a position equivalent to associate professor or above at a well-known university or research institute.

Local High-level Talent Project： The project leader must be under 55 years old， have obtained a master's degree or above， have relevant entrepreneurial experience or have held a middle-level position or above in a well-known enterprise for more than 3 years， or have held a position equivalent to associate professor or above at a well-known university or research institute.

The applicant must be the main founder of the enterprise and the first major shareholder or the largest natural person shareholder， with a personal shareholding ratio of no less than 20%； the enterprise must be located in the Gongshu District or be located there within 3 years， and in principle， it should be a business founded within the past 5 years (out-of-district enterprises are not subject to this restriction).

Schedule Arrangement

The competition officially kicked off in mid-June - with project submissions open globally.

From mid-June to July 20th - the written review of projects will be conducted.

From July 20th to early August - the expert review and background investigation will be completed.

By the end of August - the final competition and awarding ceremony will be held in late September.

Award Settings

Event Rewards

To accelerate the implementation and transformation of high-quality projects, the competition has established a significant reward mechanism:

The top prize-winning projects can be treated as "Dawan Talent" Class A projects in Gongshu District of Hangzhou and receive a 8 million yuan project subsidy; the first prize-winning projects can be regarded as "Dawan Talent" Class A-projects in Gongshu District of Hangzhou and receive a 5 million yuan project subsidy; the second prize-winning projects can be considered as "Dawan Talent" Class B+ projects in Gongshu District of Hangzhou and receive a 3 million yuan project subsidy; the third prize-winning projects and the outstanding projects can be regarded as "Dawan Talent" Class B projects in Gongshu District of Hangzhou and receive a 1 million yuan project subsidy. After the winning projects are implemented in Gongshu District, they can also enjoy policy packages such as rent subsidies, financing guarantees, loan interest subsidies, and housing for talents.
